Anne-Marie Courtemanche was born and raised in Northern Ontario. She moved to Montreal, Quebec in 1975 to escape and restart her life. Here, she married and raised three beautiful children. She is proud to say she has been a dedicated nurse’s aide and loving caregiver for twenty years and presently works at Lachute Hospital.
Anne-Marie is a compassionate person who will find a way to love and care for others no matter the cost. Written straight from the heart and deep within her soul, Where Are You Mom? Touched By Evil is her first book. After holding on to her ugly secrets for decades, eventually her emotions, physical exhaustion and frustration became too heavy of a burden to carry. She has finally reached the perfect time to tell her story. The neglect and sexual, physical and mental abuse she endured at a young age led her down a path of trauma but she is a survivor. Writing this book is one of her greatest accomplishments and she prays her story will give courage and strength to other victims as they find their voices and regain the lives they were robbed.
